·         A Lebanese passport application form from the type enclosed (click here) that can be obtained from the JP ^(*) of registry or residence.

·         A new Lebanese identity Card with a photograph as well as an A4 copy of it, or an extract of Civil Registration with a photograph not older than three months with an A4 copy of it.

·         One recent, colored photograph size 3.5 x 4.3 cm, showing the face completely on a white background , that is not a copy of a previous photo, certified by the JP’s seal and signature after bearing the name of the person, his registry number and address.

·         The old passport, if available. The old passport will not be considered as a legal document sufficient to accomplish the new passport; all above mentioned conditions will still be required.

·         The parents approval and their signature are obligatory on the form in the presence of the JP ^(*)  who authentifies the signature of each one of the parents individually, or the General Security personnel at the regional departments who authentifies the signatures upon receiving the application.

·         In case both of the parents or one of them is deceased, or in the case of divorce or abandonment, the entitled party to give permission for traveling and signing the application is the legal guardian, the legal procurator holding an explicit procuration entitling him to such procedures or the holder of the custody rights pursuant to a legal document issued by the legal competent authorities.

·         The legal fee: 60’000 L.L. for one year – 300’000 L.L. for five years.

·      The charges on paid services will be collected for every application presented at the public relations department or sent to it trough the Operation Room according to the following:

- Normal 105.000 L.L on every passport.

- Instantaneous, Immediate, Direct 105.000 L.L on every passport executed via the Operation Room.

·      In case the person holding the right of signature is abroad, a traveling permission certified by the Lebanese delegation abroad or by a competent Notary Public in the country where there aren't any Lebanese diplomatic delegations certified by the local authorities provided that the date of the application arrangement does not exceed the period of three months should be presented.

·      The minor wife or husband does not need to obtain a traveling permission.

* JP: Justice of the peace or commissioner of declarations , it is the judicial officer elected in each district authorized to witness and sign statutory declarations and provide various application forms for official procedures.
