1 - The situation of the Arab or The foreigner entering by a visa of tourism, violating the system of sojourn for a period not exceeding one month as of the expiration date of his/her temporary or yearly or permanent sojourn (invalid for working), is regulated, at the time of leaving departments and posts at the border, according to minutes. The passport will be duly legalized by the seal of exit.  

2 - The Arab and foreign nationals, who entered to Lebanon according to a visa of work, and violated sojourn rules, are prohibited from traveling. The infringement party is notified the necessity to have recourse to the Ministry of Labor to obtain a release, and then to have recourse to the department of Arabs and foreigners, or to one of the regional posts to regulate his situation and to grant him a delay to travel.  

3 - Every Arab or foreign wanting to prolong his permanent sojourn, must submit the prolong request to the General Security Direction, and that, seven days at least before the expiration of the sojourn visas.  

4 - The permanent sojourn visa through which the foreigner entered to Lebanon is only renewable for one time only.
