Organizing the entrance and departure of the Arabic and foreign touristic
delegations: whether they're scholastic or touristic to Lebanon.
Defining the touristic delegation:
What is meant by the touristic delegation are the Arabic and foreign individuals
willing to visit Lebanon for the purpose of tourism, or to get acquainted to
certain Landmarks, according to a request presented by a Lebanese or foreign
licensed touristic institution provided that their
number is not less than eight and that they travel jointly from one country to
another and their trips are characterized to be of touristic
type.
The documents required in order to obtain a group/collective visa:
The touristic institution has to present an request to The General Secretariat
of the General Directorate of the General Security which includes the following:

A photocopy of the documents of the inviting institution (commercial
register or a commercial circular …..).
- Five
copies of the
nominal list of the touristic delegation that includes the names of the
travelers (tertiary name) – Date of birth – Nationality – Profession – Sex –
Passport number along with the issuing and the validity/expiry dates.
- Photocopies
of the passports of the delegation members.
- A
commitment by the touristic institution that it will undertake full
responsibility of the touristic delegation during its residence in Lebanon, as
well as the institution's commitment that the whole members of the delegation
will all leave jointly the Lebanese territories within the granted period
provided to them.
- The
responsible of the institute must present a written statement about the decided
program for the touristic delegation, as well as the required duration for the
visit (activities, the visit locations, residence).
- The
institute shall keep the passports of the delegation members during their
residence period in Lebanon. It must not handover the passports to their owners
except when it's necessary.
- It
will be decided upon the request within 48 hours from the date of applying it.
Obtaining a group/collective visa abroad:
The foreign touristic offices can obtain a group/collective visa for touristic
delegations via the Lebanese diplomatic mission abroad.
