Entrance Visas / Entrance visa for the citizens of some foreign countries coming for the purpose of tourism

      

      A free one month valid visas are granted at the airport and the frontier offices, renewable up to three months, to the citizens of the following countries who are coming for the purpose tourism:

 

Andorra – Antigua and Barbuda – Argentina – Armenia – Australia – Austria – Azerbaijan – The Bahamas – Barbados – Belarus – Belgium – Belize – Bhutan – Brazil – Bulgaria – Canada – Chile – China Rep – Czech Republic –  Costa Rica –  Croatia – Cyprus –  Denmark – Estonia – Finland – France – Great Britain - Georgia – Germany – Greece – Hong Kong – Hungary – Iceland – Ireland – Italy – Japan – Kazakhstan – Kyrgyzstan  – Latvia – Lithuania – Liechtenstein – Luxembourg – Macedonia – Macau (S A R) – Malaysia – Malta – Mexico – Moldova – Monaco – Netherlands – New Zealand – Norway – Palau – Panama – Peru – Poland – Portugal  – Russia – Romania – Saint Kitts & Nevis – Samoa – San Marino – Singapore – Slovakia – Slovenia  – South Korea – Spain – Sweden – Switzerland – Tajikistan – Turkey (exclusively at airport) -Trinidad & Tobacco – Turkmenistan – USA – Ukraine – Uzbekistan –Venezuela –Yugoslavia.

Concerning the citizens of Thailand, they are not allowed to obtain immediate direct entrance visas at the frontier departments and centers, except for: 

A- Those who are holding diplomatic passports.

B- Those who are residing in Syria according to a yearly residence and coming for the purpose of tourism, other than the servants and workers category,.


Holders of diplomatic passports, special passports and service passports, (issued by the Cyprus Authorities) are exempted from the charges, fees for an "entrance visa".

Ø  The visa’s validity is extended within the above mentioned period upon the submission, attendance of the concerned person to one of the regional General Security districts. It is forbidden to extend the validity for more than three months for this category.

Ø  Every breach, infringement concerning the address given by the passenger, whether on the part of the hotel reservation or on the private address, will entail the arrestment and deportation of the passenger  unless he or she notifies the General Directorate of the General Security  about the alteration pursuant to legal regulations.

 

Ø  Every Arab or foreigner who entered into Lebanon with a tourist visa, and violated the residence regulations for a period not exceeding three months from the expiry date of his temporary residence or his annual or permanent residence (non valid for employment, work), the transgression will be settled upon the departure at all frontier departments and offices by means of a minutes or verbal process, his passport will be traced by the departure stamp after paying all the fees needed according to the regulations.

 

Ø  All Arab or foreigner residents who entered Lebanon with a work visa and violated the residence regulations are forbidden from traveling. The transgressor is informed the necessity of consulting the Ministry of Labor/Employments to obtain an acquittance, discharge, and therefore he should consult the Arab, Foreigners and special/private categories  department or one of the regional offices.

Ø  The entry of females who used to work as artists or masseuses, whatever is their age or the period they stayed outside Lebanon, is subjected to a prematurely approval from the General Directorate of the General Security.

Ø  The following cases are exempted from all the conditions concerning the address, the round trip ticket, and the prematurely approval from the General Directorate of the General Security:

o  The wife of a Lebanese man, who didn’t work previously as an artist or a masseuse, after presenting a document proving the marriage.

o  The wife of a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon or a holder of a valid identity card under consideration and who didn’t work previously as an artist or a masseuse, after presenting a document asserting the marriage.

o  The wife of a Syrian man accompanying him and who didn't work previously as an artist or masseuses in Lebanon, provided that the marriage is written on the husband’s family register or by presenting a document proving the marriage.

o  The coming females who didn’t work previously as artists or masseuses in Lebanon, accompanying one of the parents, one of the brothers, the husband, or a son.

o  The mother in law of a Lebanese man, after presenting a document asserting the kinship.

o  The females coming within official delegations, or those holding private, special or diplomatic passports.

o  The wife of a Lebanese man who already has worked as an artist or a masseuse and left Lebanon for a period of more than one year, if she is accompanied by one or more children from this marriage after presenting the documents proving the marriage.

o  The wife of a foreigner non Arabic man  who has already worked as an artist or a masseuse and had left Lebanon for a period more than one year, provided that she is in his company  and that she holds a document proving the marriage.

o  People entering Lebanon via direct, prematurely, or consulate visas are allowed to enter the Syrian territories and to return to Lebanon within the period of the visa’s validity and within 5 days.
