Greek applications for residence renewal with required conditions in exception of the condition of passport validity are accepted before the expiry of the residence permit at the condition of presenting a receipt of passport renewal demand from the Greek embassy.

Greek citizens are allowed to leave the Lebanese territories using their expired passport of the old type after they have legalized their residence on these passports and paid the due fees.
