The General Directorate of General Security urges all Arab and foreign nationals in Lebanon, whose current residence violates the law or who entered the country illegally , to visit the Regional General Security centers in order to settle their situation, either by being granted a yearly stay or ordered to leave the country. They should bring along their passports and required fees starting of 07.15.2011 until 10.26.2011 inclusive.

The General Security also warns citizens that the employment of any Arab or foreign worker in violation of the law exposes them to the risk of legal pursuit.
