·  The Passport to be renewed.

·  A new Lebanese Identification Card with a photograph as well as a photocopy of it on a paper size A4, or an extract of Civil  Registration with a photograph not older than three months and a photocopy of it on a paper size A4.

·  The fees 60000 L.L. for one year - 300000 L.L. for five years.

·  The charges of paid services are collected for every application presented at the public relations department or sent to it through the Operation Room according to the following:

- Normal 70.000 L.L on every passport.

- Immediate 105.000 L.L on every passport executed via the Operation Room.

Note  

In order to renew a family passport or a minor’s individual Passport, documents to present in addition to the documents above mentioned are the following:

·  A family civil registration extract, not older than three months, and a copy of it of size A4.

·  A travel permit (by means of a separate document) size A4 certified by the competent personnel at the General Security or by the JP ^(*).  

To renew the new passport (2003 type)

1)   Via LIBANPOST

The renewal applications of the new passport (type 2003) submitted by the offices of LIBANPOST company enclosed by the above mentioned documents are accepted.

2)   Abroad

The accredited diplomatic delegations renew the passport according to the currently applied common regulations.

Renewing an old passport of the model prior to year 2003

1)   In Lebanon

The old passport issued before the year 2003 cannot be renewed; therefore an application for obtaining a new passport of the new type should be presented.

2)   Abroad

It is renewed by the accredited diplomatic delegations according to the currently applied regulations. 

* JP: Justice of the peace or commissioner of declarations , it is the judicial officer elected in each district authorized to witness and sign statutory declarations and provide various application forms for official procedures.
