The citizen should consult the regional department at which he presented the application request for obtaining the passport.

In case that it has been found out that the error is  on the administration's responsibility :

The concerned person can choose between one of two solutions:

Ø    To come to the regional department which organizes the application for a new passport for the concerned individual at the department without receipting any new charges, provided that the citizen should hand over his photograph and the passport.

Ø    To be present before the Department of Lebanese Passports directly to replace the passport in accordance with the mechanism currently in force, provided to annex a document explaining the necessity to travel.

 
In case that it has been found out that the error is not on the administration's responsibility
The concerned person is informed the necessity of presenting the application request of exchanging the passport according to the rules after the payment / settlement of the due charges.
