• Having a work visa valid for at least six months and a work contract certified by the Notary Public.
• Holding the Lebanese nationality in addition to the applicant's nationality as being of Lebanese origin.
• Being the father or the mother of a Lebanese citizen.
• Being the son/daughter of a Lebanese woman. 
•  Being the husband/wife of a Lebanese citizen. 
• Being affiliated to a university or diurnal college/school in Lebanon.
• Being a religious exclusively devoted to religious practice.
•  Having a monthly salary that is not less than three million Lebanese pounds or proving by a saving passbook issued by a bank active in Lebanon a balance of at least a hundred million Lebanese pounds frozen for more than three months with a Notary Public certified commitment of abstinence from any remunerated job in Lebanon in addition to a lease contract or title deed.
• Being the wife of a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon since 1948 or the wife of an understudy card holder.
• Being a permanent functionary or employee or having a work contract for not less than a year at a Diplomatic delegation in Lebanon.

Processing time: 

• The duration of time for the completion of the yearly residence formalities is one week starting the day of presentation of the application at the Regional department.
