The General Director of the General Security possesses the right to grant free Courtesy Residence permits for three renewable years, for every foreign spouse of a Lebanese woman one year after their marriage and for their children whether they are adults or minors on one hand, working or not working on the other hand.

1- The foreign spouse of a Lebanese woman one year after their marriage

Required Documents:

11 - A marriage document implemented according to the rules and executed in Lebanon.

12 - A lease contract or a title deed.

13 - A passport valid for three years or a valid Identity card with a return coupon for a Syrian citizen.

14 - Two recent colored photos size 4x4cm.

15 - The Courtesy Residence permit application should be filled and signed personally by the residence applicant in the presence of the General Security personnel at the departments and offices of the General Security.

2- The children of a foreigner married to a Lebanese woman whether they are adults or minors, working or not working

Required Documents:

21 - A birth document or any official document which proves that the mother of the residence applicant is Lebanese.

22 - A passport valid for at least three years, or a valid Identity card with a return coupon for a Syrian citizen.

23 - Two recent colored photos of size 4x4cm.

24- The Courtesy Residence permit application should be filled and signed personally by the applicant in the presence of the General Security personnel at the departments and offices of the General Security.
