-     The General Security Departments and Centers will be receiving student residence applications for Arab and foreigner throughout the year without a specified time limit.

-     The Arabic and Foreigner students who are affiliated to one of the day universities or institutes are granted a residence permit (valid for one year) if they fulfill both the following conditions:

a)     The student entered Lebanon without a work visa.

b)   A registration statement issued by one of the day universities or institutes and certified according to the regulations by the competent Ministry, as well as a statement that shows the studies time schedule for the students in technical institutes.

-     As for the Arabic and Foreigner students who are pursuing their studies seasonally for specified hours or months (music or language students ... etc.) each case shall be submitted separately for the decision of the General Directorate of the General Security.

-   The fees of the foreigner student residence for the “Under Consideration” category are equivalent to 250.000 L.L. unless they fulfill one of the conditions to be granted a free "Courtesy Residence".
