1)     The residence permits are granted and renewed for those who entered during the year 2002 and before provided they fulfill the mentioned terms for every category of the articles b concerning the conditions for granting the student residence permit for the students of religion) and (the article 24 of the rules of granting entrance visas for clergymen, the religion students, the volunteers and the preachers). As for those who entered during the year 2003 with touristic visas, they should leave within a period of one month from the current date and return according to the conditions previously mentioned.

2)     In case it is proved that the student of religion, the volunteer, the preacher or the clergyman have performed any activity not mentioned in the engagement, the residence permit will be withdrawn and the student will have to leave the country and to return according to the residence's common terms and regulations for work.

3)     The student of religion, the volunteer, the preacher or the clergymen who are bachelors are not allowed to marry a Lebanese female during his residence in Lebanon. In the case of violation, the residence permit will be withdrawn and the student will have to leave.

The legal fee

The same residence fees similar for student residence apply to the students of religion mentioned above. 

The normal residence fees (without work) apply to clergymen, volunteers and preachers.

The provision terms of this memorandum is also applied on the female students of religion, the nuns, the female preachers and female volunteers.
