Ø The General Security Departments and Centers start accepting the residence permit applications for the Arabic and foreigner students throughout the year without specifying a fixed time limit.

Ø The Arabic and Foreigner students who are affiliated to one of the diurnal universities or institutes are granted a residence permit (valid for one year) if they fulfill the following two conditions:

A-   The student had entered Lebanon without a work visa.

B-   To presents a registration statement issued by one of the diurnal universities or institutes and certified according to the regulations by the competent Ministry, as well as a statement that shows the study's period and time schedule for the students in the technical institutes.

Ø As for the Arabic and Foreigner students who are pursuing their studies intermittently (seasonally) for specified hours or months (music or language students ... etc) each case should be presented separately for the decision of the General Directorate of the General Security.
