To place an announcement in a major newspaper for the period of three 3 days and after the elapse of ten days since the last announcement, he attends the General Security department affiliated to the residential area with a demand of the loss of the transit passport or the traveling document enclosed with an identity card or an individual extract of the Civil Registration.

In addition to the copies of three newspapers and a minutes process organized by the post station of the Interior Security Forces, the petitioner of the request is subjected to an inquiry investigation in the local where the application is presented in order to clarify the causes of the loss.

After issuing the approval, the concerned individual attends the regional department along with the approval and all the required documents in order to obtain a Palestinian's traveling document:

Ø  An Identity Card.

Ø  An extract of the Civil Registration.

Ø  A Ration card or a certificate from the UNRWA stating that he is not registered.

Ø  An identification and residence certificate issued by the Quarter Mayor along with the testimony of two witnesses including the photocopy of the identity card of each witness.

Ø  Three colored photos stamped by the Mayor's seal.
