·      If the Palestinian is registered at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs and registered at the UNRWA and at the General Security, he is granted a travel document valid for the period of one , three or five years that can be renewed for the same periods.

·      If the Palestinian is registered at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs but not registered at the UNRWA, he is compulsory granted a travel document for the period of one year that can be renewed for the same period , the previous pass is withdrawn from him.

·      If the Palestinian is a minor neither registered at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs, nor at the UNRWA nor the General Security but his father is registered at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs, the UNRWA and at the General Security, he should implement his registration at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs and at the UNRWA. After the registration, he is granted a travel document or added to one of his parents valid travel documents.

·      If she is a foreigner and married to a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, she is granted an annual residence permit after presenting a duly executed certificate of marriage and after proving the legality of the cohabitation.

·      If she is a Palestinian refugee outside Lebanon and married to a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, she must register the marriage at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs and at the UNRWA. After the registration she is granted a travel document.

·      If the Palestinian is a refugee in Lebanon holding the nationality of another foreign country his register entry will be removed according to a correspondence sent to the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs, he/she will be subject to the procedures valid for foreigners residing in Lebanon.

·      If the Palestinian is not registered at the Directorate of Palestinian refugees affairs but registered at the General Security among the Under Consideration category, he is treated same as the holders of the Under Consideration category residence documents (a residence document, a pass).

These principles are implemented by the General Security regional departments and by the Lebanese diplomatic delegations abroad.
