·      An identification card is granted to the Palestinian resident on the Lebanese territory without any identification documents on the basis of the following required documents:

-   An identification document bearing information about the applicant issued by the Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon.

-  A certificate of identification and residence of the JP of the locality or a statement of identification of the Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon.

-  3 recent color photos showing the face with a white background size 4.3*3.5 cm which are not a copy of a previous photo, legalized by the Mayor’s signature and seal or by the Palestinian Embassy, bearing the applicant’s name, one of which will be directly attached to the application by the competent personnel at the General Security regional office, the two other will be enclosed to the application.  

-  A fiscal stamp of one thousand Lebanese pounds.

·      The identification card is considered valid for one year as of its issuance date. As soon as the Palestinian individual presents an application for a new card after the old one has expired, the instructions mentioned above will apply.  

·      In case of loss or damage of the Identity card, the same instructions concerning the loss or damage of the residence permit - under consideration category will apply. 

Note: The identification document issued by the Palestinian Embassy is valid for one month from its issuance date; once this period has been overpassed the Palestinian individual can no longer present his application using the identification document.
