The guarantor can eventually opt for a discharge when it comes to the worker in domestic services, which means the worker will stop working for him, and he will no longer be a guarantor, or there will be transfer of the guarantee to another employer. If the latter opts for the former, while having preventive measures taken against him, or against the worker, the request will be denied.
 

• Some new guarantor ignore the mandatory procedures applied to guarantors, which put the old guarantor in a tough spot
• The transfer is made at the concerned regional bureau at the general security
• The validity period of the transfer or the discharge must be set

• 1 - A discharge engagement must be signed by the old employer, and a guarantor commitment must be signed by the new one, both should be done via a notary. The transfer is also possible via any general security bureau both the old and the new guarantor should be present.
• A discharge or guarantor engagement done via the notary are to be used in the general security within 15days of their issuance date  (including Sundays and public holidays)
• The worker keeps working for the old guarantor until the agreement is granted

• 2 - The discharge or transfer engagement is done at the general security – public relations’ department, 15 days before the end of his residency, at the least.

 
NB: Personal attendance is mandatory for workers upon a transfer of guarantor, or when the validity of the residence permit has expired. The General Security will collect their biometric fingerprints and their ID photo upon arrival at the relevant regional bureau or department.
Workers of the fourth category are exempted of showing up for the renewal of the annual residency permit.
