The individuals that are allowed to use a proxy to fill in for the interested party:
 

• The individuals capable of filling in without a proxy are :

1. The interested
2. Wife/husband
3. The immediate family: Father/mother, grand-mother/grand-father, brother/sister, son/daughter, grandchildren, the wife of the son, or the husband of the daughter. They must have in hand a document that proves the family ties

• The individuals who must have a proxy in hand done by the interested party via the notary are :

1. Family members of 3^rd or 4^rth degrees: uncles/aunts, cousin/cousins, the wife of the brother, or the husband of the sister.
2. The chauffeurs or escorts that hold a proxy to drive that has been issued 6months ago at least
3. The holders of a mandate delivered by the general security, if the interested is the owner of the enterprise, or a member of the management board ( this should be issued 5 years ago at the most)
4. The employees of a company that hold a copy of the social security table to effectively prove that they are employed by the company

• when it comes to the employees of a company:

 
A mandate delivered by the general security to request a document on behalf of the company, when it comes to foreign employees or a specific proxy as well as the table of social security.
 

1. Declaring a lost document related to domestic workers, and factory workers, or adjustment requests related to the situation of the foreign workers

If the fugitive has not committed any criminal offense, then a readjustment can be requested by the individual or his representative. A written report must be established at the regional bureaus, where the presence of the interested is mandatory, or at least the presence of a family member, or a representative.
 

1. When it comes to specific cases, the decision of approval is taken by the director in charge of the regional department.
2. If the employee or the representative of the company is retired, then an attestation that he has worked in the concerned enterprise is requested instead of the table of social security.

• When it comes to citizens living abroad:

 
They can request the document from the general security, via the concerned embassies and consulates, using a specific proxy, that specifies the content of the request, and that is certified by the competent authorities abroad, as well as foreign affairs.
 

• When it comes to workers including domestic ones:

1. First class, second class, and third class : their presence is mandatory
2. Fourth class : their presence is requested only for the following

• A residency permit (first time)
• A request to transfer guarantors
• A request of a condition adjustment in case of a delay in renewing the residency permit (a certificate of discharge)
• All the requests that need a director’s decision
• All investigations without exception

• When it comes to lawyers:

 
The mandate issued on 05/04/2012 that concerns the entry of lawyers at general security bureaus is in motion.
 
NB:  The proxy is valid for a maximum of 5 years, under the condition that the worker or foreigner keeps working for the same guarantor.
